SageWorks ABA is software for behavioural health practices. It records clinical sessions, checks what a payer permits, assembles documentation, prepares claims and reconciles hours. It is a tool used by clinicians. It does not practise, diagnose or treat.
Every clinical decision remains the responsibility of the supervising professional. The software may point out that recorded data disagrees with a written narrative, or that a plan asks for something today has not touched. It cannot stop a session, cannot alter a recorded value, and its prompts are suggestions a clinician is free to dismiss.
Accounts are issued to named people and are not to be shared. A practice is responsible for who it invites and for removing people who leave. We may suspend an account that appears to be compromised, and we will say so.
Clinical records entered by a practice belong to that practice. We hold them to provide the service. On leaving, a practice may take an export and ask us to delete what remains.
We aim for the service to be available during working hours and will give notice of planned maintenance. We do not promise it will never be unavailable, and any commitment beyond this belongs in a written agreement rather than on a web page.
The software helps a practice produce claims that are supported by what was recorded. It does not guarantee payment, and it is not a substitute for a practice’s own compliance obligations. Submitting a claim remains a deliberate act by an authorised person.
A practice may stop using the service at any time. We may end an account for non-payment or for use that puts other people at risk, with notice except where the risk is immediate.
